A celebration of the life of Leslie L. Pagel Jr., 49, formerly of Naperville, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville
Born Dec. 19, 1953, in Oconto Falls, Wis., he passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at his home. Interment will follow the services in Ascension Cemetery
Leslie was a 1972 graduate of Oconto Falls High School, and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison
Les was the vice president of platform and product management for the C & H Global Corporation in Burr Ridge. He was also a member of numerous engineering organizations
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Pagel (nee Schalmo); his children, Caryl, Paul and Mike Pagel, all of Green Oaks; his mother Jeanette (Robert Arndt) Smith of Suring, Wis.; his sisters, Sandra (Don Shave) Pagel of Sussex, Wis. and Amy (Tom VandenLangenberg) Pagel of Green Bay, Wis.; his brothers, Dan (Marie) Pagel now R.I.P. and Randy (Maureen) Pagel, both of Oconto Falls, and Brian Pagel of Green Bay
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie L. Pagel Sr. and by his sister, Kathy
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Wellness Center, Northbrook. Friends may visit www.dailyherald.com/obits to express condolences and sign the guest book
