Note | | Source Smith/Partridge/Shepard etc lines

She married a Mr Smith & they had a son Henry Smith who married Ann Pynchon, daughter of William & Anna/Agnes Pynchon
Her 2nd marriage was to Thomas Sanford (Torrey p650) bef 1630 and she once again became a widow
Her 3rd marriage was to William Pynchon in about 1635 who had came to NE with the Winthrop Fleet in 1630; his wife Agnes had died 1630 soon after the ship arrived in NE
Frances's son Henry Smith married Ann Pynchon [his step sister] in 1635, she was the daughter of Frances's 3rd husband William Pynchon. Frances's husband William was a man of great enterprise and highly honored; he had written a book 30 years before while in England on the judgment of religion and had it printed in 1650. It was called "Justification" and received severe criticism from the most prominent ministers & Statement of the Mass. Bay Colony. It was ordered to be burned in the public square in 1652
For this her husband suffered indignity, and least the same form of purification might reach to her husband, they returned to England where they could enjoy more freedom in his native land
Frances died 10 Oct 1657 at Wrainsbury, on the Thames near famous Runnymede in county Bucks, England; her husband devoted himself to theological writing until his death in Oct 1662 in his 72nd or 74th year
