In her father's will (proved 17 Nov 1900) Esther was left "messuage and premises situate and being No. 2 Camden Terrace, Weymouth"

Her fall from fortune seems to indicate that the story of "Solicitors/Lawyers acting on behalf of more than one member of the Jollife (sic) family of Weymouth absconded with a considerable amount of money" is likely to be true
