VandenLangenberg passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the age of 94 in Howard, Wisconsin; she was born as the tenth of eleven children on February 2, 1925 to the late Charles and Margaret (Kustka) Froelich Ceil attended St. Francis Xavier High School and then transferred to St. Joseph Academy, graduating in 1943. She then graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing in 1946 and for many years, Ceil and her classmates attended monthly lunches together Ceil worked as an RN at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay for one year, she then married the love of her life, Donald on April 17, 1948 at St. Philips Catholic Church; Donald preceded her in death on February 27, 1991 They dairy farmed and raised nine children together. In 1982, Donald and Ceil built and operated the Hi-Way Restaurant in Abrams until their retirement in 1991 Ceil was very active with her volunteer work within the church. She was in the choir, taught catechism and assisted with funeral dinners. While Ceil was raising her family, she often provided neighborhood nursing care. She was a member of the Altar Society at St. Louis Catholic Church in Abrams and the Mother's Club at Abrams Elementary. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends in Abrams. Donald and Ceil loved to go out dancing. Ceil was a kind and humble woman. Her heart was filled with faith and a love of God. In her later years, she liked to crochet and make afghans for many organizations.
