Name | | James Edward Keck, R.I.P., was also known as Jim, His Every-Day Name. |
Note | | Was advised in Jan 2020 by a Ms. Nancy (who spotted the data error at Ancestry) that Don's tree data for Jim's great-grandparents was holding the wrong people..
Assuming the source was the FamilySearch Person Tool in RM, checked & found many, many incorrect references / revisited+corrected. Ancestry hints in RM for Jim's grandmother (Clara Kraner) has 4 family trees that also show her with wrong parents... marked as wrong =============== The advisory message:
[ Nancy's ] great-grandmother is Caroline Gottliebin (Augenstein), who was born on 11 Dec 1852 in Germany . She married George Adam Kraner, who was born on 7 Sep 1848 in Germany. She died on 25 Dec 1913 in Marion, Ohio
(This information was handwritten by [her] grandfather and included in the support documents for our family tree information.)
They are the parents of Clara Ida Craner, who was born on 30 Dec 1873, in Marion, Ohio. She married Charles W. Ruhlman in 1987
Charles and Clara Ruhlman are the parents of Irene Rozella (Ruhlman) Keck. She is the mother of James Edward Keck who married Jacki Dennis
Either she picked up the wrong person for Jim's great-grandmother or you did. Whatever the case may be, the person you have in your family tree is not related to Jacki's husband. The names are wrong and the dates are wrong
Sincerely, Nancy. |
