She died peacefully of old-age at the age of 96 on the afternoon of Thursday, 8th September, 2022 as the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain while residing in her favourite place, Balmoral Castle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
NameElizabeth Windsor, II R.I.P. (Don's 17th cousin, once removed), was also known as Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.
NameShe was also known as Glennis Mary Frances.
NoteQueen Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 Apr 1926/died 8 Sep 2022) was the Queen of the United Kingdom and 15 other Commonwealth realms

Elizabeth was born in Mayfair, London as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York (later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth). Her father ascended the throne on the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She was educated privately at home and began to undertake public duties during the Second World War, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service

In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, with whom she had four children: Charles, Prince of Wales; Anne, Princess Royal; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex

When her father died in February 1952, Elizabeth became head of the Commonwealth and queen regnant of seven independent Commonwealth countries: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon

She has reigned as a constitutional monarch through major political changes, such as devolution in the United Kingdom, accession of the United Kingdom to the European Communities, Brexit, Canadian patriation, and the decolonisation of Africa

Between 1956 and 1992, the number of her realms varied as territories gained independence, and as realms, including South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon (renamed Sri Lanka), became republics

Her many historic visits and meetings include a state visit to the Republic of Ireland and visits to or from five popes. Significant events have included her coronation in 1953 and the celebrations of her Silver, Golden, and Diamond Jubilees in 1977, 2002, and 2012, respectively. In 2017, she became the first British monarch to reach a Sapphire Jubilee

In 2021, after 73 years of marriage, her husband died at the age of 99, after which she became the first widowed British monarch since Queen Victoria

She is the longest-lived and longest-reigning British monarch. She is the longest-serving female head of state in world history, and the world's oldest living monarch, longest-reigning current monarch, and oldest and longest-serving current head of state

Elizabeth has occasionally faced republican sentiments and press criticism of the royal family, in particular after the breakdown of her children's marriages, her "annus horribilis" in 1992, and the death in 1997 of her former daughter-in-law Diana, Princess of Wales. However, support for the monarchy in the United Kingdom has been and remains consistently high, as does her personal popularity.
Web AddressShe shares a website (or access to one) that has source data here: Research https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_II
Baptismafter April 1926She was baptized after April 1926.
Nameabout 1928As of about 1928, Elizabeth Windsor, II R.I.P. (Don's 17th cousin, once removed), was also known as Lilibet.
Title2 June 1953She held the title of Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain on 2 June 1953 at Westminster Abbey in the City of WestminsterG+ in Region of Greater London, England (United Kingdom), EuropeG+. She became Queen upon the death of her father after 16 months

Great state occasions take a lot of organising if they’re to run smoothly. So it takes many months to plan everything. Seriously, there’s people measuring how many steps for everyone in the parade, careful timings to ensure everything is to schedule and everyone participating is in place. The run-through rehearsals would usually be happening in parts at least up to six months out from the event

Other have to rehearse too, in the 1952 procession, it seemed that certain Ministers had to ride in the parade, as a result of their ministerial office. Now back then, most people on the social classes likely to produce government ministers came from backgrounds which ensured a decent level of basic horsemanship. Nowadays, some might need several months of urgent riding lessons if they’re still expected to ride

Then there’s a matter of ensuring that people have enough notice to attend. Great state occasions often require a lot of dignitaries from all round the World, so a decent amount of notice helps there too. Costumes also need to be made, there’s not usually much call for Peers’ robes (often they’re hired for the State Opening of Parliament) but people tend to want new ones for such an occasion and the people who make them need to gear up for a sudden spike in production

Plus, it’s best not to have the coronation until after the 12 month traditional mourning period for a deceased monarch has elapsed. A coronation in full mourning gear would be gloomy to say the least
Finally, British weather can not be guaranteed (as it happened it poured with rain during much of the 1952 coronation), but June / July is a better bet for the weather than most months, so given there are people likely to be spending the night sleeping on the pavements in order to bag a good view for the event, Summer is best

So, as King George VI died in February, the official mourning would have ended the following February, but the coronation took place in June

She was also the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and the Constitutional monarch of 16 sovereign states, known as the Commonwealth realms, and their territories and dependencies, and head of the 53-member Commonwealth of Nations

Snorri Sturluson relates that he was burnt to death by his son-in-law, the Swedish king Ingjald ill-ruler. (Source: Wikipedia)Algaut was a son of Gautrek the Mild, and grandson of Gaut; and from them Gotland (Gautland) took its name.http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gautreks_saga…Snorre Sturlason nevner både Gaut (Gaute) og Gautrek i sin Ynglingesaga hvor «Gaut, som Gautland har fått navn etter» [9], og Snorres utgave kalles Gauts sønn for «Gautrek den milde». Algaut (or Algöt) was a Geatish king who ruled West Götaland according to the Heimskringla. Snorri Sturluson relates that he was burnt to death by his son-in-law, the Swedish king Ingjald ill-ruler.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Snorri Sturluson introduces Gauti and Gautrek in his Ynglinga saga where Gauti "after whom Gautland (Götaland) is named" is mentioned as the father of Gautrek the Generous the father of King Algaut the father of Gauthild who married Ingjald the son of King Önund of Sweden. This should make Gautrek live in the early 7th century, approximately contemporary with Önund's father Yngvar or possibly Yngvar's father Eystein in whose days, according to Snorri, the Danish king Hrólf Kraki died. And indeed Hrólf Kraki is one of the kings whom Ref visits in the saga. Another king visited by Ref is Ælle of England and the historical King Ælle of Deira could well be contemporary to the legendary Hrólf Kraki of Denmark. However in the section concerning Starkad, the kings of Sweden are the brothers Alrek and Eirík which, if one trusts the order of kings in the Ynglinga saga, would put Gautrek generations earlier. However in Bósa saga ok Herrauds (The saga of Herraud and Bósi), Gautrek's supposed half-brother Hring is a contemporary of King Harald Wartooth.Algaut (or Algöt) was a Geatish king who ruled West Götaland according to the Heimskringla. Snorri Sturluson relates that he was burnt to death by his son-in-law, the Swedish king Ingjald Ill-ruler.Geatish kings (Rex Getarum/Gothorum), ruling over the provinces of Götaland (Gautland/Geatland), appears in several sources for early Swedish history. Today, most of them are not considered historical. This list follows the generally accepted identification between the names Götar (modern Swedish), Gautar (Old Norse) and Geatas (Old English), which is based both on tradition, literary sources and on etymology. However, unlike some translations[1] it does not identify this tribe with the Goths. Both Old Norse and Old English records clearly separates the Geats from the Goths, although still depicts them as closely related to each other. From the Middle Ages until 1974, the king of Sweden, claimed the title king of the Geats as "king of Sweden and Geats/Goths" or "Rex Sweorum et Gothorum." The Danish monarchs used the similar title "King of the Goths" from 1362 until 1972.Roi du GautlandImmediate FamilyText ViewAdd FamilyShowing 6 peopleÅlov Olafsdotter, of NerikewifeGauthild Algautsdotter, av Göta…daughterAlfhild HaraldsdattermotherGautrek "the mild", king of GotlandfatherHelgasisterHrólfr "Gamle" Gautreksson, of…brother

Ms. Robin Gauthier 2014 / Sources
Statement from Phyllis J. Hughes, HFA Genealogist regarding the Myth of Joanna Coffin as the first wife of Reverend Joseph Hull, 1635 Immigrant
Facts, Fables, and Fantasies

"Numerous people have in their records and on their pedigree charts that the Massachusetts immigrant of 1635, the Rev. Joseph Hull, married as his first wife, Joanna Coffin or even as just Joanna, as published in the 1913 genealogy The Hull Family in America, compiled by Col. Charles H. Weygant and others."

Several years ago, when I began compiling a book on the Rev. Joseph Hull and a line of his descendants, I decided to try to verify more about the life of Joanna Coffin and to especially obtain some dates. I also decided to try to trace back to the original source of this information. I was successful in this regard. Joanna Coffin, given as the first wife of the Rev. Joseph Hull, was a theory originally promulgated and published by another early-day (turn-of-the-century) Hull researcher, Orra Eugene Monnette, in some of his publications. He also contributed much information to the Rev. Joseph Hull branch of The Hull Family in America

He [reportedly] had some scanty circumstantial evidence for believing that Joanna Coffin was the first wife:
1. Rev. Joseph's first daughter was named Joanna. However Rev. Joseph's mother was also named Joane
2. Rev. Joseph's third child was named Tristram and Joanna Coffin had a brother named Tristram; both were children of Peter Coffin and Johan/Joanna Thember
3. The Coffins lived in Brixton, Devonshire, and Rev. Joseph Hull had ministries in Devon in Northleigh and Silferton/Silverton and earlier was at Colytn
4. Tristram Coffin emigrated to the colonies and lived in Dover, Strafford, New Hampshire, where the Rev. Joseph Hull also lived for a short period of time

One of the first steps in solving this problem was to investigate the English parish records. In my research in these original English church records, I found the baptismal record for Joanna Coffin. Joanna Coffin was baptized 29 Dec 1616 in Brixton, Devon, England, the daughter of Peter Coffin. Immediately, I saw that the date of her baptism would not support the conclusion that she had married the Rev. Joseph Hull for she was much too young

Rev. Joseph's first child, Joanna, was born in the winter of 1619/1620. Rev. Joseph and his first wife would have married ca. 1618-9. Since the normal practice was to baptize progeny as infants, Joanna was probably only about three years old, at the most, when the Rev. Joseph Hull married for the first time. Thus Joanna Coffin, the daughter of Peter Coffin of the parish of Brixton, Devonshire, England, was far too young to have been the first wife of the Rev. Joseph Hull and have had children as early as she did

I also found that Joanna was a minor when Peter Coffin wrote his Will in 1627. Mr. Monnette has for several years been debunked by serious genealogists for the many incorrect judgments which he has made…No mention of either wife has ever been found. We do know that his second wife was named Agnes, as evidenced by (1)the 1635 shipping list (2) a 1645 York, Maine dee and (3) the 1665 Probate papers of the Rev. Joseph Hull which are also found in York, York County, Maine. John (1) Heard, of Sturgeon Creek, in Kittery, Me, was of the Dover Combination in 1640. In 1652 he had a grant of land near the great hill, where he built the garrison house saved by Elder William (1) Wentworth in the massacre of 1689. He died January 17, 1689. He married Elizabeth (2), daughter of Rev. Joseph Hull and his wife, Agnes (Wentworth-p45.)
Christeningabout 1615She was christened about 1615 in England (Tudor), EuropeG+.
