  7. [S18] Shawn, Data from a cousin (1700's) (Name: http://genforum.genealogy.com/shave/messages/43.html;), Hi Jane, Many thanks for your reply.
Indeed we are cousins and I am glad also to add you to my own list

I live in Canada, near Hamilton, Ontario.
My sister lives in Edinburgh, Scotland and has [so] for some years

It appears I am missing one year from my W/Whitechurch parish records, and that happens to be 1773, the year that my Richard Shave was baptised

Thanks to you, now I can complete that part of my tree

William Shave married Mary Stevens on November 19th, 1747 in W/Whitechurch.
He was buried on December 12th, 1762, aged 42 years (born about 1720)

Mary Shave was buried on March 14th, 1766, aged 48 years (born about 1718)

Here is a site of interest for Shave research that I came across: http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~donshave/Everyone/d6.htm
    [dead as of May, 2018]

I would be glad of any additional information on our ancestors

I can tell you Ann Churchill was baptised on December 25th, 1776 [born] to James and Elizabeth Churchill

James Churchill and Elizabeth Clench were married on January 19th, 1761 in W/Whitechurch

A death registration is found for David Shave in the Index of deaths, Registered in England in the year of 1875, which states his age was 99 (born abt. 1776), registered in Blandford (Dorset)

If I find anything else I will inform you.
    Thanks again.

The Rev. John Eliot's Record of Church Members, Roxbury, Mass. Transcribed by William B. Trask, Esq., of Boston. A recorde of such as adjoyned themselves unto the fellowship they had when they joyned, & of such as were borne unto them under the holy Covenant of this Church, who are most pperly the seeds of this Church. ..... Phillip. & his eldest son Willia, came the yeare before. he was a hopefull schollar, but God tooke him in the end of the yeare. 1634. .......Sarah Curtis, the wife of Willia Curtis (footnote-see Reg. xxxviii, p. 145.)

A Genealogy of the Curtiss Family: Being a Record of the Descendants of Widow Elizabeth Curtiss, who Settled in Stratford, Conn., 1639-1640 published by Frederic Haines Curtiss Rockwell and Churchill Press, 1903 with 252 pages, provides early on proof that this William is the son of John and Elizabeth Hutchins and was christened June 21, 1618. William and Mary Rawlyns are never seen in Nazeing records only London. She is not seen being buried there close to child William. Whereas John and Elizabeth Hutchins Curtis were there. This is much more proof that N D Whisenant can offer as she has offered nothing. The Book by Frederic Haines Curtiss was published in 1903 and family he was alive in the mid-1800s and hearing his grandfather speaking what his grandfather spoke would put this into the same time period

There is absolutely no evidence of anything going the other way for Mary Rawlyns child and N D Whisenant knows it or she would have produced something but she cannot.
