This name association, along with Breton stories of a King Conomor who was also known as Mark (or March: short for Cyn-march), has led to confusion with his evil great grandson. However, the Breton Conomor was a contemporary of King Childebert of Paris who ruled between 511 & 558, some hundred years after this Dumnonian
