Patience was the daughter of the Ruling Elder, William Brewster;

She had moved from England with her parents and siblings to Amsterdam in 1608-1609; Leyden 1609-1623; probably living with the Robinsons after her parents departed for Plymouth in 1620 aboard the MAYFLOWER

Her mother, Mary had left Patience and her sister Fear in Holland with their older brother, Jonathan (whose wife and infant daughter had died c.1620) and had taken the two small sons to London where they picked up her father, William, and continued on the MAYFLOWER to Plymouth. Mayflower
