One of Langlade county's first settlers, Joseph Brouillard, Sr., died at his home in the town of Norwood, May 13th, at the age of 83 years and six months
Born in Montreal, Canada he came with his parents to Green Bay, when [he was] but five years old; Green Bay at that time was almost entirely settled by Indians

R. station being Clintonville
Besides clearing up a nice farm he still followed up cooking for the Mattoon Mfg. Co. at Mattoon and Phlox for about ten years
He always was a hardworking man, a loving father to his family and kind and obliging to all he came in contact with, therefore esteemed by all who knew him
Besides his wife there are six sons and three daughters to mourn his death
