How to Navigate Don’s Family Tree Data

Clicking the "Home" link (in the menu @ the upper-left side of any tree page) returns you to the Tree home page

Name Index

Click the "Name Index" on the menu & then a letter for surnames; clicking a name (or in the a-z group when shown) will list one or more people, where you can then click an icon button to switch to one of these views:

1) An Individual View []

This view shares the selected person's name, notes, photos, events, and families where available. Events with notes/sources/media have clickable images to the right; click to view that particular item. Each family member has 3 icons to the right of the person's name that you can click to switch to one of these views for that person

2) A Family View []

This shares the family group for the selected person; there may be more than one family. It lists father, mother and other children in the family, along with their events. Events which include notes (etc) & each family member will have the same access buttons as described in the Individual View above

3) A Pedigree View []

This displays the 4-generation pedigree chart for the selected person, showing names, birth and death dates, and pictures if available; a Pedigree View can also be accessed on the menu. Clickable direction arrow icons allow you to move around the tree branch: the "—>" icons will take you "up" the tree branch & a "<—" icon takes you to a child; a clickable "+" icon to the left of the person shows all children of the person. Each person displayed will the have same access buttons as described above in the Individual View

Visual Concerns

Characters that show as "�" (an accent/other character) are not displayable with the browser you are using

Sources that are listed are duplicated for many people & their facts
