Henry P Schmitt [in People]

Biography

Birth12 April 1852Henry Peter Schmitt was born on 12 April 1852 in Northumberland, Saratoga County, New York, United States (North America)G.
Death16 September 1934He died on 16 September 1934 at age 82 in Athens, Marathon County, Wisconsin, United States (North America)G. The cause of his death (at the age of 82) on Sunday, September 16th, 1934 was from pneumonia in the State of Wisconsin
Note[ from an HTML file ]

Henry is the [reported by the author to be the] beloved “Grandpa Fudder” that played the part of both Grandfather & Father to the Schmitt Children of William & Clara Schmitt, after William Schmitt (son of Grandpa Fudder) passed away in 1922 when he got sick with the Flu in 1922

From stories I’ve heard, he actually died from Pneumonia

My Mother (Henrietta Schmitt) was born in April of 1922; she was just an infant, never knowing her real Father. Grandpa Fudder represented the only Father she ever knew

Grandpa Fudder was known for being a kind & gentle man. Would get down on his knees each day, for prayer. From stories I’ve [the author] heard from the Schmitt’s (mostly from my Mother), everyone that knew him, adored him!!
